Pablo Correa Wentlant presents Just for you, a populated editorial production: Just for you collects stories of designers, illustrators, artists from all around the world, whose through their own eyes they show us their most intimate pieces. The book goes through different forms of expressions to say I love you, in a visual fashion. Joel Speasmaker updates his portfolio after a long while: “Mind/Spirit” was my part of a two person show, alongside Christopher Bettig’s “Foreverever,” at DDR Projects in Long Beach, CA. My work was an exploration of Hegel’s The Phenomenology of Spirit, featuring prints, a book, and a motion/sound piece. The prints included Mind/Spirit (16.5x 20.5”), Some Appropriate Dialectics (48 x 20.5”), Geistlos (16.5 x 20.5”), Weltgeist (16.5 x 20.5”), Volksgeist (16.5 x 20.5”), Geist (16.5 x 20.5”), Comprehension (48 x 20.5”), and Synergetics (16.5 x 20.5”). Each gicleé print is an edition of 1 and had aspects (circles or letters) cut and removed.
