Quite a rest after the last controversial Daily Deviations.

Interior Design magazine awarded WAVE in the Outdoor Furniture category with nearly 30,000 votes; designed by Erik Nyberg and Gustav Ström for Royal Botania, WAVE stands out there as a one of a kind outdoor hammock.
Now WAVE is going out big to fit the requirements for launching this piece of furniture: A country-wide tour through the US., first stop, a month-long stint at the International Polo Club in Palm Beach, Florida, followed by a cameo appearance at the Academy Awards in LA. They will announce more tour dates in their twitter and facebook pages

The crew at cargo announced private beta’s ending in January 15 2010, this is no shocking news since they made this clear from the very begining. Now, for the time being, the platform will remain in invite only mode and will still offer a basic service free of charge.
Members will be able to add features to their account, each feature has an individual cost and will be added to the subscription final cost. We congratulate Cargo for their first year and their constant evolution not only in the business but in building a community, congratulations that have to go to everyeone involved too.
They have made available a discussion forum for this topic, where you can also check the feature costs.

This year, Design21 has brought in quite a big project about redesigning a new mark for UNESCO’s DREAM Center. Since the participation in the contest increased with professional entries (about 1.000, from 80 different countries), two Most Popular entries and three Honorable Mentions were also declared.
